Preparing evidence packs for a licensing milestone in Taiwan

A licensing evidence pack is not a dump of every policy ever drafted. It is a navigable set of artefacts that show the institution can run the product it is asking to licence — with named people, tested controls, and honest gaps.

Index before volume

Start with a contents list mapped to the application checklist. Each item should point to a single current document, not three overlapping versions. Auditors waste days untangling duplicate AML policies with conflicting dates.

Show the test, not only the policy

Where the application asks about reconciliation, monitoring, or outsourcing oversight, include a recent sample or attestation that the control ran. A policy alone rarely satisfies a readiness review.

Leave room for the remediation calendar

Almost every pack we review has unfinished items. Placing them in a dated calendar with owners is stronger than hoping nobody asks. Our regulatory readiness audits often begin by rebuilding this calendar so the rest of the file has somewhere honest to point.
