About

A small audit practice for fintech control environments

Flowing Data Connect was formed to give Taiwanese payment, lending, and securities-related fintechs a place to commission independent audits without being sold a retainer for outsourced compliance.

Origin

Our founding partners spent years inside compliance programmes at licensed institutions and on secondments that supported licensing files. We kept seeing the same pattern: firms hired generalist consultants who delivered slide decks, or software vendors who framed every gap as a product problem. Neither helped when a supervisor asked for a dated remediation calendar.

Flowing Data Connect exists for that calendar. We run time-boxed audits for fintech control families — readiness, CDD quality, monitoring rules, diligence packs — and then step back so your own officers own the fixes.

Working approach

We keep engagements small enough that partners stay in the sample. Junior staff do not ghostwrite findings from a checklist they never tested. Clients in 屏東縣, Kaohsiung, Taichung, and Taipei receive the same fieldwork standard — on-site when the file density warrants it, secure remote review when it does not.
